WTRT and W T Services are committed to assisting our customers with disabilities by helping them find a variety of telecommunications products and services to assist them with their special needs.

Members that need assistance purchasing such equipment can visit: https://www.hhs.texas.gov/services/disability.

Here you will find vouchers to help with the purchase of equipment and additional information to assist you with any questions or concerns you might have. Any members that need further assistance please contact our business office at (806) 364-3331.

Note: If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired you can call any Texas Health and Human Services office by using the relay service of your choice. The state of Texas offers Relay Texas, which you can use by dialing 7-1-1 or 800-735-2989.

Lifeline Service

Keep peace of mind for you and your loved ones with lifeline service. Help is just the push of a button away.

What is Lifeline Service?

The Lifeline Service program offers a discount on your monthly telephone/broadband bill. Assistance in the way of the Lifeline Program is available to qualifying low-income consumers to make telephone/broadband service affordable.

Program Eligibility
  • Lifeline is supported by the federal Universal Service Fund (USF)
  • Lifeline is non-transferable
  • Only eligible consumers may enroll
  • Only one Lifeline discount is allowed per household

To qualify for Lifeline, subscribers must either have an income that is at or below 150% of the federal Poverty Guidelines, or participate in one of the following assistance programs:

  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)
  • Health benefits coverage under the state Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
  • The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program
